Apple iPhone 5 16GB Black & Slate Unlocked MD297B/A A1429 Faulty

As you can see from the photos above, this iPhone is working but has a dying battery (due to age) so turns off periodically. From what i understand, a new battery is all that is needed but i have no interest in doing this as i have a new phone.
