However, there is a sign of life: when connected to a charger and the power button is pressed, the front indicator light briefly glows. The device has been dismantled to check for water damage—none found—and the issue appears to be with the motherboard. The power button and volume buttons require a firm press to respond but do still work. The screen is in perfect condition, with a factory protector still on it, and the back cover is flawless.
